op5 System 3.1 adds a new portal-page to your op5 System. The new portal-page features a step by step wizard for easy initial system setup and offers you a way to easily to administer server time settings, email delivery settings, SMS settings, network settings, product license, backup settings and password.

Security upgrade
This archive upgrades op5 Statistics from 2.8.x to 2.10.
The 2.10 release is mainly a bug fix release targeting the following issues:
- A potential security exploit in the poller cmd.php. All previous versions of op5 Statistics might be affected.
- Cactid downed host detection issues in previous releases.
Apart from the issues above the upgrade fixes a number of small problems.
All op5 Statistics users are strongly recommended to upgrade to version 2.10.0

This archive upgrades op5 Logserver from 1.2 to 1.4.
New features in op5 Logserver 1.4 are:
- Staged data-handling to minimize risk of data-loss.
- A hotfix has been included to make the GUI less prone to hang on extremely large data-sets
- New layout of long-time loadfile storage to make op5 Logserver work with gigantic data-flows.
- New database layout to preserve original sender for messages forwarded through several op5-logserver instances.

This archive upgrades op5 Monitor from 2.6.x (or 2.8.0) to 3.0
This new version upgrades the core Monitor logic. Op5 monitor 3.0 adds a couple of new features: New look and feel, Hyper Map -zoomable/browsable network map, Acknowledge problems by SMS and Receive check results by SMS.

This new version upgrades the core part of Statistics. Op5 Statistics 2.8 adds two new features: New look and feel and new interval in Scheduled Reports - daily.

Security Upgrade.
This archive upgrades op5 Monitor from 2.6.x (or 2.8.0) to 2.8.2.
The upgrade resolves an security problem present in all previous versions of op5 Monitor.
- The security issue consist of a potential content overflow in the op5 Monitor CGI's.
The upgrade also adds two new features (also available in op5 Monitor 2.8.0):
- Monitor Simple Graphs which will enable plugin performance data to be graphed.
- First host notification delay support.

Note 1: This upgrade requires op5-Monitor > 2.6.0. (available below)
Note 2: op5-Statistics users need op5-Statistics 2.6.2 (available below). This requirenment is due to the fact that op5 Monitor and op5 Statistics use the same tools for creating and displaying graphs (specifically rrdtool).
Note 3: Due to increased restrictions on configuration Monitor does not allow empty service groups anymore. If op5 Monitor fails to start after upgrade simply delete any empty service groups via the web-gui and restart monitor by executing 'service monitor restart' on the command line. |
