These packages require access to your system using SSH and include assistance via the Internet and telephone. Compared with our GoodStart packages, Remote Assistance saves you time and travel costs.

You pay a fixed price and get a secure start from installation to getting your system’s basic functionality up and running. This package contains 8 hours installation/consulting in two separate sessions and is suitable for one product with up to 50 nodes. (Please contact us if you have more than 50 nodes.)
Day 1 – Basic setup
Once we have received your pre-installation sheet containing information on the systems you want to monitor, we prepare the op5 configuration files. Via SSH, we add the files to your system. If you have a security policy which does not allow this, we can send you the files and instructions on how to do this. By the end of the day, you will be able to browse to your op5 system using any common web browser. Alerts via email and text message for op5 are not usually enabled until day 2.
Day 2 – Fine tuning your system
We have usually collected enough data to start adjusting and fine tuning thresholds in op5 Monitor or configuring search filters in op5 LogServer after the first week. You will have noticed that some of your systems have generated alarms even though everything is working correctly. (For example, it is OK for a hard disk to be 85% full on a very large san drive, but it is not OK on a partition containing a database of business-critical company information.) We adjust alert triggers, configure LogServer search filters or customize your Statistics installation. Once this has been done, we activate alerts via email and text messaging in op5 Monitor.
