IT departments have different demands and conditions. Our program comes in two packages to suite your needs. - Appliance is a complete 19" server to implement into the IT environment.
- op5 Appliance is for the customer who wants a turnkey solution where service and support covers the solution. If a hardware problem should occure the server is exchanged within 24 hours.
- A software that can be downloaded onto a server of your own choice.
- op5 Download is a complete system where the server and the operating system (CentOS or Redhat) is your own responsibility.
op5 Appliance Server op5 hardware Appliance server is tailor made specifically for op5's three applications
Deployment options op5 Monitor and op5 Statistics can be installed and operated on the same op5 Appliance Server. op5 LogServer requires its own server – Standard or Large (due to processor and memory requirements)
What System Should You Choose?
(* A node is an IP address, that is to say for example a router, switch, server or printer).
A simple recommendation
- op5 Entry System; For companies with up to 100 actively monitoring nodes*
- op5 Standard System: For companies with up to 500 monitoring nodes*
- op5 Log System: For companies with over 500 monitoring nodes*
The choice of your system is based upon the size of your own environment, for example, number of ”checks” per node and your demand for redundancy. Do not hesitate to contact us if you are uncertain, then we will give you an answer. At the present time we have customers with twenty nodes up to those customers with several thousand.
Upgrading, Scaling and RedundancyAll the systems support redundancy and load balancing. This allows for a system design with several op5 systems configured together.
