Powerful Reports

Bridging the gap between IT and business

A thorough monitoring system that collects vast amounts of data from your entire IT-environment is great, but what gives it real value is the ability to visually present the data in easy to understand reports that can easily be shared and understood throughout your business.
General features of all op5 Monitor reports include:

  • Report Direct – the ability to produce the report directly on screen and then export it to PDF or CSV
  • Scheduled reports with automatic email distribution
  • Include or exclude performance graphs
  • Include or exclude detailed events data
  • Direct on screen editing of report – no need to start all over if you need to change a parameter such as time period

Schedule automated reports for your business

Scheduling reports with op5 Monitor makes sharing information throughout the business incredibly easy. By using the schedule functionality you can choose to get automated reports distributed directly via e-mail to relevant staff on a weekly or monthly basis. The reports can be scheduled either by time periods (such as last 24h, last week, last 30 days) or dates. There is also the possibility to exclude information form the reports, so that you can exclude reporting during service windows or planned downtime.

Availability Reports

op5 Monitor supports a multitude of availability reports that track the up-time of your network. For example, the reports can for example be used to track availability versus unique service time schemes or track whether the lack of availability is due to either malfunction or a planned maintenance. The availability report shows the availability of host groups, service groups, hosts or services during a selected report period.

op5 Monitor supports both the standard Nagios availability reports and a new version which is more visual in its presentation.

The reports in op5 Monitor can be mapped against unique Service Level Agreements. This means that you can directly see and follow-up on both your internal and external SLAs, which helps you TO make informed decisions when evaluating your service hosts and keeps you informed as to whether the service level agreements are being met or not.

Trend reports

Trend reports display a graphic view of status on a host or a service during a selected time period.

Alert summary – Top alert producers

One of the most useful reports for system administrators working with op5 Monitor is the report showing the Top alert producers, which makes it easy to identify the biggest problem producers in your environment. This is also a very simple way to identify badly configured devices.
