op5 adds new Service level and availability report to op5 Monitor for better, more accurate and easy to read follow ups in op5 Monitor 3.3.1
Many IT operations are today facing major challenges in transforming from reactive IT support to proactive IS (Information Services). This in combination with new technology such virtualisation and in and outsourcing adds new demands for better control and follow up.
Much of the classical data collected by different monitoring solutions are very technology focused and as such also the reports created based on the data. The reports are therefor limited to the experts in the IT operations.
Introduced today are op5 new reports for better, easier and more accurate reporting. The fundamentals are based on the same information as before but with a focus on easy to configure and especially easy to use. The value of these reports are instant.
Service level follow ups on external services such Internet access or operator hosted VPN solutions can now easily be added to the reports. Just define the external SLA conditions, for example:
Internet access * Service should be available 24x7 with an exception of 4 hour night to Monday (Generally the operators service window) * Agreed service level is 98,5% * Agreed available bandwidth should be 2Mbit.
Just add the parameters in to the web based report configurator in op5 Monitor and then get instant online reports on the service you pay for. Any discrepancies from the agreed conditions, direct links to the actual events etc. etc. All presented in easy to understand graphs, colors and detailed figures
