Supported Hardware

op5 Monitor and other op5 software can favourable be run on op5 hardware or virtual servers to ensure full support of Software, HW and OS. op5 Server uses a customized operating system called op5 Appliance Software, that is optimized for running op5s software.

Hardware Deployment Recommendations

The op5 LogServer extension requires its own standard or large server due to processor and memory requirements.

Requirement for: 200 IP-addresses / 1000 services, Max 1000 IP-addresses / 5000 services for one system
CPU: one 3Ghz CPU
RAM: 512MB
Disk: 60GB recommended

op5 LogServer

Requirement for: 100 IP-addresses / approximately 2M log rows per 24h
CPU: one 3Ghz CPU
RAM: 512MB
Disk: 80GB recommended, the more you add the more log data you can store
Note: More RAM memory will improve performance (shorter response time)
