The Free version is to be used for testing and evaluation. It can also be used for basic monitoring needs since there are no feature limitations, there is however a limitations of the number of IP addresses that you can monitor.
What version to choose is very much based upon what your needs are. No matter what solution your looking at, the biggest investment will be your own time and resources. This is why we spend so much time and energy on developing op5 Monitor to become the easiest solution to use, regardless if you only need monitoring of a few servers and switches or if you need to monitor several 10 000nds of devices, services and applications in an global network with several network operating centers (NOC). Yes, the limitations is decided by the scale of your network and nr of IP adresses you need to monitor as well as on how you want to run your system. Please read the requirements for further information.
Yes it is very easy to upgrade the plan as you grow.
The basic version is limited to a maximum of 75 monitored IP-addresses and has limited support. op5 Monitor Basic is suitable for basic network monitoring needs in small to medium sized networks. An easy, to get started and use yet powerful monitoring tool to a very low price. op5 Monitor Enterprise include full support, there is no scalability limitation and it is also extendable for specific needs.
